VACATION...

Wes and I are taking a vacation. A short vacation, but still a true, real vacation. No work. No meetings. The hubby and I on a beach drinking fruity, cold drinks. And maybe some tequila.

Tonight we head to Bismarck and tomorrow morning we are Cancun bound!

We leave Friday and come back Monday. Not a lot of time to lounge around, but I will enjoy each and every second. We are heading down there with the best man from our wedding and his wife (along with the wife's brother and SIL).

The girls will be staying with my MIL and FIL. FIL will be doing chores as well. After the 8 days we were gone a month ago, I am hoping the girls do ok during this 4 day stay. We are at a good place with the twins sleeping again. TJ was up to use the bathroom once and went right back to bed (even though I had to sit on the floor next to her for a while). AA slept ALL night!!! They get so excited in the morning and say very proudly, "I slept in MY bed last night, not mommy's."

And Lil? Well, we keep wondering when the other shoe is going to fall. She goes down wide awake, sleeps all night and wakes up smiling. She transitioned off the bottle like a champ. The transition from breastmilk to whole milk was a cinch. She loves to eat. I think she is going to get back at us by being a bearcat to potty train. That is just my gut feeling. Or maybe she just seems this easy after having wrangled twins. Either way, I love this little girl.
