Sledding...

Today was a beautiful day to be outside. The wind was a bit strong, but when isn't it in ND.

Wes' sister and her family came out today. So, while Grandma watched the twins we all went out sledding. There is a big hill just to the east of the house in the calving pasture that had some GREAT snow cover. The wind whips out over the top of the hill and makes a nice snow curl to sled off. Although there wasn't much of a curl left after a few days of warm weather there was still a good sized drop off.

Since WallyWorld doesn't have sleds for sale anymore (you know they have swimsuits for sale now because it is summer time) we had to make due with inner tubes. We all had a ton of fun and I think Wes and Kodi enjoyed remembering all the good times they had sledding on that hill when they were young.

Maybe I will be able to post some pics if I get some from Kodi (hint, hint). I didn't even think to bring my camera along.
