-39 degrees.
That is chilly. When it is cold I give Wes a ride down from the hay yard in the morning so he doesn't have to walk in the cold, cold wind. He takes one tractor up to the hay yard, I pick him up and bring him back down, then he takes the second tractor up so he can start feeding.
I really didn't feel like taking him this morning. It was just one of those days. Then I saw that it was -39 degrees.
And I still didn't feel like taking him! That requires me to go out in the cold in my PJs. And he wanted me to take the pickup. That doesn't have heated seats like the Trailblazer.
Did I mention he also made me make him breakfast? While I was trying to feed two little hungry girls. Cold cereal wasn't good enough. Hot oatmeal wasn't good enough. No, he wanted me to make my mom's big pancakes. I'm telling you, I wasn't in the mood to give the guy a ride.
I did take him. Nice wife. And honestly, it wasn't so bad. I stayed out of the wind so it was only -8 degrees. I actually enjoy our little drive each morning just to talk about things.
