Mom and my niece, Olivia, rode the Amtrak train from WI to Stanley, ND yesterday. They left around 5 pm on Wednesday and arrived by 10 am on Thursday. The girls and I drove up to Stanley to pick them up. The train appears to be a good way to travel the distance. Wes and I may consider the train the next time we head to WI. That way we will be able to feed and change the girls whenever we need to without having to stop. The cost wasn't bad either. The girls ride free until they are two.
I put Mom and Olivia to work right away. I'm determined to catch a little bit of sleep while they are here. Mom won't be leaving until September 1st. Olivia has turned out to be a great cousin and has already been a huge help with the girls. Hopefully, she won't be sick of them by the time she leaves!
