The routine...

It was a happy day when I was able to finally cut off the ID bands after 29 days.

Tessa and Audrey trying out the crib together. So far they are doing ok together and they don't wake each other up when they cry. Hopefully, that will continue. They seem to be accustomed to the noise of the NICU.

The living room with all of the baby paraphernalia taking over just a day after they arrive home.

"What's up with the funny looking animals on that mobile?"

"Cute as can bee!"

The girls are sticking to a 3 hour feeding schedule around the clock right now. I am keeping them on the same schedule with feedings. That means if one is up and ready to eat then the other one will be woke up to feed as well. Audrey tends to be the one calling the shots around here about when it is meal time.

Yesterday, we had our first visit with the pediatrician. I hadn't met him until then so I had Wes come with me to the appointment to get his opinion of the doctor. After our initial visit we both feel we will work well with him. He is very upfront with his answers especially if he doesn't know the answer. He also was not threatened by the million questions Wes and I tend to ask. Dr. Brian also has a good working relationship with our neonatalogist in Bismarck.

The girls also had their first outing yesterday after their appointment. They stopped by to see their cousins, Kalista, Mason and Alex

Tessa's upset. That means my post is done!

Wow- What cute pictures! The girls look like they really enjoy being close together again.  They are going to stimulate and entertain each other. They both look so alert and healthy.  I am glad that your visit with the Pediatrician went well. Love,JoAnn

Love the pictures of the girls! Its fun to be able to watch them grow from back here. Get used to not having a living room anymore...the baby stuff never goes away, it just changes with the stages:) Take care!!
