The Auction Barn...

The girls made a very important visit today. They visited a place that will become very familiar to them in the coming years. The Auction Barn! Audrey and Tess were so excited when I told them where we were going. I don't think they slept much last night because of the excitement. Actually, I know they didn't sleep much last night, especially Tess. This morning they decided to wear their little cowgirl onesies for the big trip. Wes already has many plans to take the girls with him while he sits at future sales.

"What a cowgirl wants" -Tessa

"Cute & adorable cowgirl in charge" -Audrey

There was a reason we went to the auction market in Dickinson today. We sold our grass calves on a video sale taking place in Colorado. The calves will be delivered at 850 pounds in October, but we pre-sell them now. We received a great price for them and the girls are taking all the credit for the good luck!
While at the auction market, the girls discussed the pony that dad is going to buy them. Here is how the conversation went.

"Tessa!! Dad said I could ride it first!"

"Yeah. Well, dad's not here. So, put 'em up. I'm gonna be the first one on"

"Take that in the nose, Audrey. You won't ever win. You may have been born first, but I'm bigger than you!"

I can solve the problem by being the first one to ride the pony! Remember how we would try to scheme a plan to make our parents buy a horse for out on the farm? Ahh, the plans we had!

The girls look great!
