The girls are 4 weeks old today. With the shifts that the nurses work some of them have been off for two weeks and they always have two things to say: You girls are STILL here and they are really looking different with the weight gain.
Audrey is now a huge 5 pounds 0.6 ounces!!!!! I have two five pound babies!
Tessa is 5 pounds 8.2 ounces!
It won't be long before Audrey catches up to Tessa in the weight gain.
We still don't have a definitive diagnosis yet other than a protein intolerance. We just don't know what protein is causing the problem. For now they will be on the formula I've talked about before. We will be taking the girls to some specialists in the next month to find out some more.
Last night I gave Audrey her first bubble bath. She must be all girl because she LOVED it. She had her arms and legs just spread out and she was totally relaxed. Audrey had been pretty fussy because she has gone so long without a poop. I think she hung out in the tub for a good 15 minutes.
