Nursery Pictures

Ok, don't get used to three posts in one day. That isn't bound to happen too often, but the internet was down yesterday and I think I was feeling deprived. Plus, like I mentioned in my last post we are in the middle of hay season. That means Wes left the house at 4 this morning. It is currently after 10pm and he still has a few more hours of baling to do.

That leaves me and Dodge home all alone. Dodge is upstairs on the couch watching TV and I am downstairs on the computer. I'd take a picture of Dodge to prove it, but she is a bit camera shy and takes off when she sees the camera.

Like this...

I have a lot of pictures of her like this.
Although I did catch her in the act one day.

I know it is hard to see, but if you look closely you can see she's already had 2 cans of Coors Light (click on the picture to make it bigger)! The beer slowed down her reflexes obviously otherwise I never would have caught this on camera.

Ok, now to get back to the nursery and what you've been wanting to see.

Here you can see the chocolate stripes we painted around the room.

On the stripes I am painting raspberry circles. Don't tell the girls, but I only have one wall of circles done so far. I am hoping they don't notice when they come home!

This is looking into the nursery from the doorway at the two cribs. It is a good thing we went to graduate school because it sure took us a while to figure out how we were going to fit everything in the room. Wes had to move things around a lot more than once. He smiled the entire time I directed him (I wouldn't lie about that either).

And here is a close up of the crib skirts I made. The matching curtain is made, but I haven't bought a curtain rod for it yet.
