"Get me out of here..."

So, I admit that this is all my fault. Wes? Do you hear me? Yes, it is my fault.

With the long hours Wes has been putting in at this time of year (well, that can be said almost all year) I've been in charge of bedtime. I've gotten a little slack on the routine. And the twins picked up on bad habits.

Habits such as, falling asleep on the couch while I feed Landry, waking up during the night and going back to sleep on the couch or worse yet in bed with us.

Last night was the end to such habits. No more.

After I put them down, Wes came in for the night. Just in time to take both of the twins out of their cribs to the bathroom. (That might be a bad habit too now that I think about it. Hmmm.) Therefore, they knew that Wes was in the house. And he is the one that put them in their cribs the last time.

There was a little crying to come lay on the couches, but Audrey fell asleep fairly quickly. Tessa on the other hand, well, she was not having it. She kept yelling, "Daddy, get me out of here!" We were laughing so hard I felt bad that she was crying so hard. Over and over and over. There is no way I would have been able to handle it if it had been "Mommy, get me out of here!"

On the plus side, the girls slept good all night IN THEIR OWN BEDS. I clarify "all night" to mean they woke up at their normal time of 5:30 AM.
