How did I have so much time to blog when the twins were little????
We just got back from a trip to Denver to see Wes's sisters and their families. We hit the zoo, children's museum and a waterpark in the 3 days we were there. The trip back on Monday was long and we were all ready to be back at home in our own beds.
The twins are back in their cribs because nap time was not going so well especially when I thought they needed a nap and they did not think so.
Tessa is as close to potty trained as I am willing to admit without jinxing myself. She did awesome this weekend, but all those stops did add to the travel time. Audrey...well, is Audrey. I think the accidents really got to the sensitive little girl and she just wanted to be a "baby" again. We are having some issues come up between the difference between "babies" and "big girls."
And speaking of babies...
The twins still refuse to call Landry by her name. They can be repeating everything I say, but when I say "Landry" they automatically insert "baby."
Landry is still a wonderful baby and is very easy going. My biggest gripe about the little girl is that she refuses to get on a naptime schedule. She will seriously go with a total of 30 minutes of naptime and still be a cheerful thing by bedtime. I want mommy-time!!!
The twins cause quite the stir when out in public. People think they are so cute and often doubt that they are actually twins. They get money, toys and lots and lots of attention. This weekend we ate at BK on the road. Since I don't buy them happy meals the workers decided the girls still needed the toys so they each got one. I think Wes and I spend most of our time talking with strangers instead of eating. The twins ate their hamburger and Wes and I took ours to eat in the pickup back on the road. Such is life.
Love to all from the whole gang!

Don't fight the DVD player now that you've gotten started! I make the kids watch it for the 5 minutes it takes us to get into town to daycare just to keep them from fighting!
