Always something...

Perhaps you remember back in July when my fridge died right before company was coming for the twins' 2nd birthday. The model I wanted was on back order until August and then it took over 2 weeks to get shipped here. By the end of August it was finally here.

I was making a lot of trips up and down the stairs using the extra fridge in the basement as our main fridge. I also moved our little dorm fridge into the kitchen once the girls figured out how to open that one while it was in the bar area. I had to work at convincing Wes to move out the old, broken fridge before that happened though.

And on that note, the old fridge is still sitting in front of my house. How long, how long????

So, the new one came, it took several days for it to make it into the house.

And it did NOT fit!!!!!

I knew it would take my husband forever to do anything about this issue. So, like all good wives, I know how to get the husband motivated. I found a saw (while Wes was gone) and began to remove the upper cupboard that was in the way! This was at the beginning of this week. I was gone for work on Wednesday and Thursday. When I got home Thursday evening he had finished the JOB!!!! YAY.

And today, you ask? The freezer compartment isn't working!

Why can I not win at this fridge thing? Stupid, stupid fridge. I hate you.

Oh, did I mention that Wes took off for the high school football game prior to this happening? I was unloading the melting ice cream from the freezer with the girls all crying cuz they just wanted to go to bed, but I got distracted while getting their milk when I discovered the freezer issue.
