I still cannot thank Al and Gloria enough for making the trip out here with Grandma and Grandpa. The memories and pictures from that day will mean SO much to the girls when they look back one day. I never would have thought that they would have been able to visit my family in ND to see what we have built for ourselves and why I love it enough to stay so far away.
I was very lucky to grow up on the same farm with my grandparents living just on the other side of the farmyard. The relationship between Grandpa and I was a special one that I never fully appreciated until I moved away from home. Although I don't get to carry on Grandpa's legacy on his farm I am so proud to be carrying on the tradition of production agriculture.
My hope is that I've made my grandpa proud.
