A broken leg...

It has been a little cool outside.  The twins have runny noses (allergies mostly), but Lil has a cold and just got a slew of shots at her 1 yr well baby checkup (when she was 15 months old).  Oops.  I'm a little behind.  Therefore, I haven't been really keen on taking the girls out in the chill.

That changed with a broken leg.  We didn't have much other choice and I'm sure the girls are very appreciative of the broken leg.  They got bundled up so fast that their heads were spinning, but they had huge smiles on their faces when they realized they were going outside.

Here's the poor little guy after casting...

And here are the very excited girls getting to watch the whole thing.
And Lil just can't get enough of cows.  Just check out that grin.

Hopefully, the bone will set right and he'll be able to get around.  It is always cute to watch them try and get up with a cast.  They have no idea what is going on and try to walk with the cast up in the air.  If it doesn't set then we will have to put him down, but we are going to give him a chance to heal if he doesn't exhibit signs of pain.
Yep, it is chilly.  The girls are all bundled up in May to play outside on the teeter totter.  It sure helps having twins.  They get on and off this without any help and no one is flung up into the sky.
