Thirsty...

Earlier today, Wes came in and innocently asked if he should take the girls with him to the livestock barn. I said, YES. But he had to leave in 5 minutes and he didn't think I could get the girls ready in that time, afterall, it was 9 o'clock and they were still in their pajamas. 5 minutes later I had 2 little girls dressed, each had visited the restroom, a diaper bag packed, and a carseat reassembled (a small case of vomit from a few days earlier).

We were delivering calves today. We presold the calves several months ago with today set as the deliver day. When we sold them we had to predict how much they would weigh today. If they are heavier than we said then we get discounted on the agreed upon price. If they are too light then we lose out on potential money. It is a gamble as all of agriculture is.

The girls had a slendid time with their daddy at the livestock barn and came home in high spirits with a little bit of mischief, too.

How do they move so fast? I swear I didn't turn my back on them for more than 3 seconds!

Apparently, they felt the need for a party. The 3 of them emptied out 3 boxes of pop and a case of beer. It was completely quiet until I heard cans being tossed across the room. I came running thinking that Lil was sure to be hurt, but she was the biggest thrower of them all.

I dread the day that Lil starts to walk...
