Well, the little lady doesn't technically have an ear infection, yet. Her right ear is beyond bulging, but no redness to indicate an infection. We put her on an antibiotic though since Wes and I will be heading out of town for the weekend. I really hope she does ok for the sitter.
This will be the first time we leave the girls with a non-family member overnight. Actually, I can't really think of a time they have been left at all. Sad, sad, sad. Really? Have Wes and I not left the girls overnight with someone? I'm sure Shirley has watched the overnight at some point.
Wes and I are Atlanta bound on Saturday and will be returning home late Tuesday. And it is more of a business trip than pleasure, but hopefully, we will have some fun too. The annual convention for the American Farm Bureau is being held this weekend. We are being sent to the meeting since we are the current chairs of the ND Farm Bureau's Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee. This has been a great opportunity for us to meet some great producers across the state of ND. It has also given us the opportunity to attend the meeting in Atlanta and in February we will be travelling to Orlando for 8 days! And NO we are not taking the girls with us to Orlando.
So, this weekend Patti is coming to stay with the girls and I really hope they do ok for her. In February my mom is coming to stay with the girls. I'm not sure if that will actually be much of a vacation for her, but I do hope she will have lots of fun.
