Last night the girls left out a plate of cookies and carrots along with a glass of milk for Santa. The twins thought we also needed to put out some cheese. I asked who was going to eat the cheese and they said the reindeer.
Before they actually made it to bed TJ had eaten about half the carrots though. She didn't think the reindeer would mind.
So, tonight after work we will eat supper and then open presents. I am looking forward to seeing Christmas through their eyes this year. Every time I talk about Christmas AA says, "haaaappy birthday, baby Jesus." I need to get that on tape. And TJ keeps wanting to go see baby Jesus at his house. "We have to be quiet cuz baby Jesus sleeping," she says.
Instead of reading books at night we now sing 3 Christmas songs that follow along with their books.
A big day for TJ yesterday. She got her first haircut. Pictures to be posted soon.
