Lil is standing and walking with help. It seems that she has grown so fast. I don't know where my baby has gone. So, the story of no sewer. It hasn't been fun, but after almost 3 weeks I think I am getting used to it. This house has 2 sewer systems. The original system was put in in 1942. The "new" system was installed in 1946. The new system has been giving us headaches for several years. After too many back-to-back toilet overflows I can officially say that I am done with it. During all the tinkering to figure out what was wrong Weston broke a plastic cap and has rendered the system completely inoperable. Thankfully, the upstairs (our main) bathroom is the only thing on that new system.
I've been stopping at the inlaws after work twice a week to give the girls complete baths. Our only working toilet is downstairs which is a bit scary. That part of the basement is not heated so I really hate taking the girls down to use the toilet much less take a bath/shower. They have started using the "little" potties again and I just take that downstairs after they go. I am praying that a plumber is able to get it fixed before Christmas.
