Pregnancy brain strikes again...

The girls are obsessed with lifting up my shirt, saying belly and then patting. The only problem is the patting quickly turns to pinching! I've been very hesitant to teach them to say baby when they pat my belly because I am worried about the negative things that can happen from that. I keep envisioning them going up to someone overweight, patting their belly and saying baby. So, I think for now we will avoid that possibility and I will continue to let them pinch my belly.

I am so hesitant to say this, but the girls are really starting to sleep so good at night. With all the ear infections this summer, a couple of colds, and them starting to wake up in the middle of the night wanting a diaper change I haven't had more than two hours of straight sleep since before they were born. They definitely take turns waking up during the night. We hit a huge milestone two nights ago when I slept for FOUR hours. And last night? FIVE. They will both be sleeping completely through the night just in time for the baby to arrive!

Pregnancy brain struck on Sunday. And, boy, was it a big one. I dropped the girls off at the MIL's so I could run to Walmart, the grocery store and Runnings (Fleet Farm for you Wisconsinites). I loaded up the cart at Walmart (even started my Christmas shopping), got up to the check out, unloaded the entire cart and then realized I had my purse, but no wallet in the purse. EMBARASSING. I then proceeded to reload my cart and the nice checkout lady kindly put my cart over in customer service for me. Wes was kind enough to meet me halfway from home and he tried very hard not to laugh when he pull up along side me. He kindly requested I bring home some "fun" for him for his efforts. I told him that unless I could find "fun" at the grocery store he wasn't getting any because I was certainly not shopping at Walmart again. It will be awhile before I can get up the courage to shop there again. And I will be checking, double checking and triple checking for my wallet the next time!

Tessa now has ten teeth. Two of her molars have popped through.

Audrey loves Dodge. She will sit on the kitchen floor and pet Dodge as long as Dodge will sit still. Tessa loves Dodge if she is being held and there is no possible way for Dodge to touch her.
