We arrived in WI at the wonderful time of 3 A.M. on Friday morning. Wes bought his discbine. We visited with Aunt Joannie and cousin Carla from Michigan (they just so happened to be in the area this weekend). We got to visit with Great-grandma and great-grandpa Baumann. We had a family BBQ (Matt is such an expert griller!) On Saturday Wes and I made a trip to an area dairy to see their manure digester. Aunt Mary came to visit. Briggs got to spend all day with us. The girls took many walks in their new stroller and loved it. We headed back to ND Sunday morning and it only took us 15 HOURS to get home. That sucked!!!

So, the weekend was packed and busy. Neither Wes nor I got enough sleep. And we wish we could have squeezed more time and visits in. Next time we promise to do better. Mark your calendars cuz we will be back the weekend of August 8th for Lynne's babyshower.
My mom made birthday cakes for the girls. They got to celebrate their first birthday one month early. Here they are practicing smashing their cakes.
