Here is the newest resident on the ranch. Buck has been locked in the corral for three weeks, but after getting his feet trimmed he is happy to be out on pasture.

And here is the infamous machine that caused us to make the long trip to WI to buy. Wes is happy as a clam (are clams really all that happy?) cutting with this bad boy. He is so excited that he can go up to 8 mph unlike the old machine that only allowed him to go maybe 3 mph. Boys and their need for speed. The hay crop looks awesome this year. We have been getting shots of rain every couple of days. I could swear we have moved to WI.

The girls discovered that they can see out the living room windows. They love to watch for dad and see the dogs and cats play.

Too much fun and I end up with sleeping girls during lunch.

Evidence of a fast hard rain. I think this was after a 1.25 inch rain in less than an hour. We ended up with a huge "puddle" right in front of the house. That is Dodge running through the left side of the puddle.

Don't you hate it when a picture of a dead heifer shows up among all the cute pictures of your babies? What? That doesn't happen to you?

Cousin Tienna was here visiting for over a week. Here she is playing with the girls.

11 month pictures with the bear

This is what taking monthly pictures is like now.
Standing.
Playing with the bear.

Having no intention of sitting still long enough for mom to snap a picture.
