Learning...

The twins had another successful day of learning. They are going to be experts on the topic of poop. Today they took in a webinar about managing manure in barnyards and vegetated exercise lots broadcasted from PA. These girls are a bit advanced for their age. I drank my coffee while they preferred to down their bottles. Although it was naptime, I allowed them to stay up and watch the webcast, they insisted. They've heard knowledge is power.

Have I told you the best part of my day? Being greeted by a smiling face when they wake up. Every time I put them down for a nap or at bedtime I am already looking forward to seeing that first smile when they wake up and see me. The innocense in that first smile breaks my heart everytime. That's the reason I don't mind being the first one up with them in the morning no matter how tired I am. Don't tell Wes, but he misses out on a wonderful moment.

Not that he doesn't get his fair share. These girls LOVE their daddy. I get smiles during the day, but when they see dad, WOW. Two faces light up with the biggest smiles of the day.

And that is the best part of having twins. Two smiles. Twice the love.
