Do you have those places around your home/ranch/farm that accumulate "stuff"?
Well, I'll be real honest and tell you that we have several of those places around here. I hate having the piles of stuff, but since I moved out here 7 years ago I haven't been able to master any of the piles and they keep multiplying.
I swear those piles are worse than bunnies.
One of the worst offenders around here is the old brooder coop. I keep saying I want to raise chickens in an effort to get that place cleaned out.
Would you like to quess what is in there?

CANS!!!
The girls, daddy and grandpa had a can crushing party.
I don't know just how many bags of aluminum cans there where, but let's just say that it filled the cattle trailer.
We did find several unique cans that we didn't remember.
Do you remember Pepsi Jazz strawberries and cream?
I'm guessing it didn't stick around for long.
Or how about Grapette?
The twins took the cans in with dad. Since they had so many the place just had them weigh the entire pickup/trailer with and without the cans.
Grand total of 240 pounds!
Crazy!
And since we sold when the price was high (yeah, right) we got $0.50 per pound.
Grand total of $120.
Not bad for cleaning out the coop.
Now, what other piles around here are worth some money...

So.....When are the chickens arriving???
I think the chickens will come next spring. I'm trying to make sure that I am ready for the butchering part! It has been many years since we did that! Want to come help?
