The last month...

Only 4 weeks and 1 day until my scheduled c-section.

Do I hope to make it that far?
Yes.
Do I think I will make it that far?
No.

I was telling Wes this last night and told him he better be prepared for the baby to arrive in 3 weeks.  Everything he wants/needs to accomplish should be done by then just in case.

There was a moment of stunned silence as a look of panic swept across his face.

Yes, I still have things that should be done before the baby arrives that just aren't going to get done.  But I have the glorious advantage of having my mom come out to help for 3 weeks after the baby arrives.  HER list of things to do is getting really long.

Third pregnancy/fourth child and I guess I'm just not all caught up in all the extras anymore.

I have diapers for the baby.
I pulled out newborn clothes from the storage room.
I have breastfeeding supplies ready and the freezer has some room in it for freezing extra milk.
I have gifts for the older sisters to get from the baby at the hospital.

What else do I need?  What am I missing?

Let's see...

The clothes I pulled out are not washed and put away.  They have been confiscated by 3 little girls that have all of their dollies dressed up in them.

I don't have dresser space for the baby's clothes in the room because the dresser never got brought up from the basement or painted like I had hoped.

I still need to get to the store to buy a coming home outfit because I figure this kid deserves at least one new outfit from us not just a bunch of hand-me-downs.
The girls did finally get some play sand for their sandbox.  After all of the 80 degree weather we were spoiled with in March it has been down right chilly lately.

Reba and the kitties snuggled up

Just too much fun.

I broke down (or should I say Wes finally broke down) and bought one of those anti-gravity lawn chairs.  It was getting a bit uncomfortable sitting on the wrought iron chairs we have on the deck while watching the kids play outside.

Sitting is getting uncomfortable and standing makes my feet swell in the afternoon so I am loving, LOVING this chair.

I've been terrible at taking pictures this month.  I looked back to find some pictures to put up and really I have about 8 from April.

The baby was really active on Saturday (like painful knees in my side that had me doubling over in pain).  I am thinking she flipped and dropped a bit.  This entire pregnancy I've been carrying high and pointy.  Now that she has changed positions I feel like my belly is really quite small.

Not a bad way to feel with only 4 weeks left.

Sounds to me like you've got it together. I'm impressed you are planning to go to the store and get a coming home outfit. I resorted to the internet and had it delivered to me!
