We are always looking for something "fun" and "a craft" to do around here. The girls, especially TJ, ask me all the time to do "something special."
With spring just around the corner it seems I had the girls make a special treat for the birds. Our current bird feeder was not stocked at all this winter. Oh, those poor little birds.
I used about a 4" piece of pipe cleaner for the needle and tied a length of yarn onto it. Then I just let the girls start stringing cereal. All I had on hand for round cereal was honey nut cheerios and fruit loops.
