The twins are doing pretty good with the potty training. Tessa is willful and in control. Not sure where she gets her stubbornness from (definitely not me).
We still have a few accidents, but things are coming along. They wake up dry from naps and overnight if I put them in a diaper. Put underwear on them though and wet sheets abound. I changed Audrey's sheets twice within half an hour. You think I would have learned after the first time, but I was sure her bladder would have been empty. Turns out she was just using it as a way to get out taking a nap. Smart little cookies I've raised!
Landry was in for her 4 month check up last Friday.
13 pounds 6 oz and 24.5 inches long.
I have a baby that is in the 50th percentile!!!!
She has been incredible and so different from the twins when they were young. What a difference having a full-term baby!
I had to take all 3 girls with me to the appointment. A tiny little part of me was worried about this, but I kept pushing it out of my mind determined that everyone would behave for me. No strollers. Just me, carrying Landry in her car seat and two little walking girls (and a diaper bag loaded up with snacks). They were ANGELS! Held hands, walked and waited for me. They sat nicely in the exam room while we waited. And they were all up in the nurses business while Landry got her shots. They were so worried hearing Landry cry.
As a treat (cuz they didn't eat nearly enough sugary bribes, I mean treats, in the doc's office) they got fries from McD's. We ran an errand to the animal health store for daddy afterward and those two were just awesome. They didn't even have an accident on their first outing after potty training began. I love these girls so much.
The weather has been wonderful and we are taking advantage of that by taking the girls outside during the day. They play hard and they crash hard for naps. That does not equate to them falling asleep well at the end of the day though.
