Last Saturday, September 5, 2009, was the last official day of baling hay! Who would have thought we would be baling hay in September? The official bale count is somewhere around 6400 bales (compare that to the measly 2200 we made last year).
There is still some straw to bale, but we have realisticly moved on from haying. What does that mean? That does NOT mean I will be seeing my husband anymore than before. That means we have 6400+ bales to haul in this fall.
I took the girls out to the field on Monday to see Wes baling straw. Audrey slept the entire time we were out there, but Tessa got to go for a ride on the tractor and learn how to bale.
Pictures were taken, but I forgot the camera at home. I'll try to get them up tomorrow!
I have also reached the halfway point of this pregnancy. Where has the time gone?
