Tessa still not sure about smiling for the camera
Audrey looking like a little football player
Tessa wearing her daddy's hatWe had a follow-up appointment for Audrey's tubes and things look great.
I thought I would include a little update on each of the girls:
Audrey...
Also known as Audrey Anna
She is very laid back and just takes in her surroundings. She is starting to jabber more, but still lets her sister tell the stories. She has the biggest heart and is always concerned when she hears her sister cry.
Favorite activity: Sleeping, carrying around a sock in her mouth
Favorite food: Blueberries and peas
Least favorite food: Cauliflower
Tessa...
Also known as Tessa Jane, TJ or T-Jack
She is still my little go-getter as she is always on the move. She has been having problems with me leaving her at daycare. She crys every day I leave her while Audrey digs into the toys and forgets that I am even there. She will talk up a storm and is always ready with a smile. She is ticklish and has the most contagious laugh. She loves her daddy and heads for the window or door when she hears a vehicle come down the road thinking that it is him. Once she learned Dada she forgot all about saying Mama.
Favorite activity: Sitting in or on anything, carrying around a shoe
Favorite food: Bananas
Least favorite food: She will eat almost anything, but when she is done she is DONE. She either drops it on the floor or starts putting handfuls of it on Audrey's tray.
Baby number three:
Baby number three:
As I have hit the half-way point of this pregnancy I can't help but think how different it is this time around. I feel that with only one baby in here I should have a ton of energy and feel light on my feet. Unfortunately, chasing after these two little munchkins I love so much makes me crash by 8pm. My house is a mess because I don't have the energy to pickup after the girls go down at night. I am already having trouble lifting the girls out of the tub and I cringe to think how much worse it is going to get. They may become the "stinky kids" at daycare if I stop giving them baths every night. We have been trying to hold off on baths until Wes gets in the house to help. This has pushed their bedtimes back until about 8 or 8:30 on most nights, but I think they are starting to get into the new routine. I haven't been in any rush for them to start walking because I know how crazy it will be then. But now that my belly is getting bigger it is starting to get harder to pick up them both up. I guess they can start walking any day now and I won't be sad. I have already started cleaning out the new nursery and getting things organized. I have a long way to go, but it is a start.
Biggest perk about being pregnant with only one baby: I can still wear my low-rise pre-pregnancy jeans! That also means that all the maternity jeans I loved so much last time won't stay up at all this time. It might be time to go shopping again!
Things are changing around here day by day and we are just looking forward to the exciting times we have ahead of us and enjoying every day we have together.
