July 4th...

Crazy, crazy week.

I received a call from daycare Wednesday morning asking me to come pick up the girls immediately. A girl in their room had just been diagnosed with hand, foot and mouth. The girls were also presenting symptoms, blisters. Yeah for daycare! Off to the clinic we went.

Audrey had been in on Tuesday with...you guessed it, her first ear infection. These two just MUST do everything the other one does. Audrey had to outdo her sister by having a double ear infection.

So, with the ear infections in both girls and the hand, foot and mouth they have been sleeping TERRIBLE. I'd rather have a newborn at this point. At least they cry, eat and fall back to sleep. Tessa ran a fever for a good portion of the outbreak. They only had a few blisters on their hands and feet (none in their mouths) with the majority of them occurring on their butts. I got to have 5 days off in a row to be with the girls and that I must say was wonderful.

Bales and windrows as far as you can see. The alfalfa and grass hay is done. We have officially made more bales this year than we did all of last year. And we still have barley, oats, peas and millet to cut and bale!!!!!
Proof that not all the machinary on the place is new. This was the first (and only) tractor Wes would trust me to drive when we first started dating! I was in many a hairy situation with this tractor, a wheel rake and big hills that year. Oh, how I love you, Super C.

Going for a stroll around the ranch. Love, love, love this stroller.

Playing with our new Sand and Water activity set from our special Auntie Erin (minus the sand and water right now)
