Iowa Road Trip...

The girls and I are heading out on a road trip. We leave tomorrow and will be spending the night with friends in Lisbon, ND. Their little guy is about a month older than the girls and I'm excited to see how big he is compared to them.

On Sunday we will be heading to somewhere. I am still trying to catch up with some friends to see if we can stay with them. If not, we will be staying in a hotel in Sioux Falls, SD. Then we head to Boone, IA on Monday to see Lynne and Jeff!

I haven't been down to see Lynne in IA since her graduation two and a half years ago. We are going to take over their house for a few days and give them a taste of what is to come when their little one arrives in October.

I'll be attending a conference for work a couple of days and then we head back on Thursday. The plan is to be back home by Friday (two days of driving). I really hope the girls continue to travel well.

And then next weekend is a HUGE weekend for Wes and I. We have been looking forward to it all summer. The in-laws are watching the twins and we are heading to the ND State Fair in Minot early Saturday morning. We'll be eating lots of fried food, riding crazy rides, and taking in the Taylor Swift concert. Did I mention eating lots of fried food? We need the weekend away just the two of us. It has been a long time since we've been able to get away without the girls. We are camping that night and then more of the same on Sunday. I am prepared to gained 5 to 10 pounds that weekend!

The week is going to be busy with a lot of travel, but I will try my best to post in during the week.
