Busy...

As a testament to how busy things have gotten around here I have made a very difficult decision. I will be returning to work in mid-May and putting the twins in daycare.

It has been very stressful trying to get my work done during naptime and in the evening. Obviously, updating the blog has taken a back seat and I know a certain Grandma doesn't appreciate it! I got a webcam and Skype set up on Grandma's new computer the last time I was home. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to get it setup on our computer here!

Although, it will be hard not seeing the girls all day, I believe that I will have a lot less stress in my life when I go back to the office. The goal is still for me to quit my off-farm job in the near future, but for now, in this economy, after yet another drought year, we have decided I should hold on to my job (and insurance) for a little longer. I might be able to quit sooner if Wes would stop buying machinery. He's been whispering in my ear about a new hay machine now.

I took the girls in for their first official "professional" photo shoot at JCPenney's for their nine month pics. They did awesome and I can't wait to get them. We did the obligatory bathtub photo. Both girls fit in the tub and were so dang cute.

Here are some photos that Aunt Wendi did at 7 months:

Audrey has become quite the smiley little girl in the last two months. She gets up on all fours and moves backwards, but she still hasn't figured out how to crawl. She naps like a champ and is such an easy baby.

Tessa is still full of mischief. She figured out this crawling thing in no time. She gets her feelings hurt easily, but can go from throwing a fit to laughing in about 2 seconds. Obviously, Tessa takes after her mother with her short temper. She also doesn't feel the need to sleep or nap much. She will fight it forever.
