Salsa Making

I have a freezer full of tomatoes from my garden in 2007. I've made three batches of salsa and two batches of tomato sauce since then and my freezer is still full. I've had good intentions of making salsa before the twins come, but it hasn't happened.

So, yesterday, my MIL came out to help me make salsa. The 8 month pregnant lady can admit that Shirley did most of the work and I took a nap while she finished!


We ended up with 64 jars of salsa in the end and unfortunately I still have more tomatoes left! My best guess would be that I have enough tomatoes left to make about 35 more pints.

Can you guess what everyone will be receiving as gifts from us in the future????
