OMG...

I am so insanely excited!!!!

Yep, I'm gonna use lots of these -->  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have internet service again!

My baby is 6 weeks old and there are few pictures of her on my blog.  That is just wrong, people!

I have so much to catch you all up on and I will start working on it ASAP.  The only thing I've been able to add to the blog are pictures I've taken with my phone and sent.

I know what I will be doing during night feedings (blogging, uploading pictures).  Sign up for email alerts for new posts if you don't want to miss out on anything.

That also means I am going to be wiped out, sleep deprived and probably a little bit bad-tempered during the day.

But really, it will be worth it.  My husband may not think so, but oh, well.  He'll get over it!!!!!

So, the internet is working and my phone just tried to die on my a few days ago.  It is always something when it comes to technology.  It won't ring or alert me at all when I get a call or text.  Time to head into town (minus ALL kids) and look at a new phone.  You know how long it takes to get in and out of a cell phone store.  I'm really NOT looking forward to this experience at all.  I've been hanging on to this phone for a while now just for that reason.

Between the lack of internet and my phone not alerting me to texts, emails and calls it has been a bit like living a decade ago without all the technology right in your face.

I've been a bit more present in my children's day-to-day life.

I've gotten more housework done.

I've had more conversations with my husband.  As in in-person conversations.  Not via text.  Nor have the conversations been interrupted by phone calls (at least on my part; his phone is always ringing).

Sometimes it is important to step back from the constant technology and instant access that we have become accustomed to in today's world.

Self imposed breaks are important.  I need to remember that on the days my kids interrupt me in the middle of updating my facebook status.  Instead of being irritated I should be thankful.

Thankful for the 4 beauties I was blessed with on this earth!!!!
