Still kickin...

We are enjoying the warmer weather around here. The girls are always excited to play outside and rarely want to come back in. The little potty chair accompanies us outside.

Wes was oh so willing to spare me a few hours this past weekend to help me get flowers/shrubs/trees planted around the house. Unfortunately, somehow he spent time getting his strawberries, raspberries and blackberries planted leaving me to go back outside to plant at 9 PM after the girls were all in bed. I'm starting to catch on to his wiley ways.

I must give kudos to him for cutting down 2 trees for me. Again, unfortunately, I have about 5 more trees marked for him to cut down. Someday. Someday soon? Someday before the trees fall over onto the house? Who knows.

I think it is safe to say that planting (crops) is finished today. Wes has moved onto fixing fence out in the pasture and haying season is going to be here before long.

I have so many wonderful pictures to share with you. You will never believe how big Landry is getting. I might have to just bite the bullet and spend all night uploading pictures after the girls go down.

Speaking of that. What is up with almost two year olds thinking they need to stay up late? Up until about 2 weeks ago the twins were in bed no later than 7:30. Not long before that it was 7 pm. Suddenly, it was 8 pm. And last night!?! It was after NINE! This is out of control. It doesn't help that Wes normally gives them bathes and helps with the bedtime routine and lately he has been staying outside later and later working. That leaves me with bathtime/bedtime routine for the twins while trying to feed the little one. Just too much going on to get the girls in bed ontime apparently. And they generally don't get crabby after staying up too late either.

Don't worry, it doesn't help daylight lasts longer. Last night Addie was playing with her doll until nine. We put her down at eight! I will get better!
