Home from the hospital...

What a week it has been.

I planned to upload pictures this week, but didn't get it done.

Audrey ended up in the hospital Tuesday evening with dehydration and the possibility of pneumonia. Last week she had surgery and this bug just took her down. She was released Friday at noon. Tessa really missed her "Sissy." Wes had Tessa and Landry here at home with him while I stayed with Audrey.

Luckily, calving has been going very well so Wes was able to handle everything here. There are about 70 calves on the ground and only 2 dead. That is great compared to issues we had last year. Each day in the past week there have been about 7-8 calves born. They are keeping Wes busy.

Landry has been such a wonderful baby. She has already started sleeping through the night. Something the twins really didn't do until they were over a year old. She can easily go 8 plus hours at night. Last night she slept 9 hours getting up at 5:30 this morning only to eat and go back to sleep until after 10. The twins went down for a nap at 10:30.

Today, having 3 seems easier than 2. I even baked banana cherry chip bread this morning! Lynne, you just keep quiet about the big mistake I made in the recipe. I fixed it best I could and the bread is delicious! I'll pull some out for baptism at the end of the month just to proved it.

Pics to come soon.

I'm glad everyone is home and feeling better. I will look forward to tasting that bread!
