alive...but barely...

So, much to catch you all up on. Unfortunately, my camera went KAPUT! I will work on that. I now have two digital cameras and neither one of them work. Do I really need to buy another? Should I pull out the old film cameras? I still have some film. Maybe I should use that up before it really becomes an heirloom.

The girls are all doing great. The twins usually call Landry "baby", but once in a while they call her "Lolly." It is so darn cute. Landry is sleeping good, but somehow I seem to be getting less and less sleep. I am waiting for my body to just get used to it. We'll see. I have also gotten back in the saddle again. The saddle being the treadmill. Wes thinks that is why I am so tired, but I refuse to give that up. That is my alone time and every mommy needs that. The treadmill and my headphones cranked up. I don't even hear a peep from the babes then. Too bad I finally get on the treadmill around 10 o'clock at night.

The vocabulary of the twins is growing by leaps and bounds lately. It is so much fun. They often wake up from naps and sit in their cribs just chatting with each other. Not that I have any idea what they are saying.

We had a really treat this last weekend. My mom, brother, Matt, and his kids came out for a quick visit. The girls had so much fun playing with their cousins. They are at a fun age and I can only imagine what it will be like when we visit WI this summer. The kids went sledding and built a snowman named "Harry." Tessa loved it of course, but Audrey was a bit more reserved in the sledding. We made due with a tractor tire innertube and a mental disc sled. I had looked for sleds in the store a couple weeks ago and couldn't find any. Really? Do they sell them only at the beginning of winter? Before there is any snow on the ground? I will have to buy them right away next year.

Landry must be around nine pounds now. She has a two month check up next week and I'll find out more then.

Landry is being baptised April 24th in Killdeer. Her godparents will be Lance Tuhy (Wes's best man at our wedding) and Lynne. We are looking forward to seeing Henry again (and Lynne and Jeff). Mom and dad will be coming out too.

Funny little story. The twins' favorite reading material right now are bull catalogs. They seem to prefer black angus at this time. They see the catalog and say cow insisting on paging through the catalog. This is high time for bull catalogs.
