Weekend activities...

The tree finally got decorated this weekend. Between the girls taking separate naps on Saturday and Wes having some time to spend in the house I got lights and ornaments on the tree.

The tree was bare for a week because when I pull out all of the lights from last year all that worked was one-half of one strand! I'm not sure what happened this past year in the storage room downstairs, but I swear someone was playing a joke on me.
I couldn't believe what a beautifully shaped tree it turned out to be!
I went VERY light on the ornaments this year. Only the top 2/3 of the tree is decorated. And since I didn't trust the girls with ribbon garland hanging on the tree I just skipped it all together. With the lights on at night you can't even tell the difference.
I got gifts wrapped on Sunday afternoon because daddy was around to watch football (oops, I mean watch the girls). I got a little carried away with the bows!

Tessa and Audrey with matching bows.
Audrey kept feeling the top of her head to make sure it was still there. She sees Tessa wear clips in her hair, but she never gets one. Audrey was just so pleased to see and feel a bow on her head.

ON THE CATWALK
Check out the cute outfits the girls were in all day Sunday. We never made it out of our pj's.
Audrey sporting her denim jacket, Halloween pj's and lime green squeaker shoes.

Tessa with her popped collar, one leg pulled up pj's and lime green squeaker shoes. She is also sporting the latest look in messy hair.
